Babel Bach

After Bach, the day after, here is the second part of the Sentiers Musicaux Européens project.

In the winter of 1705, J.S. Bach undertook a journey of over 400 km on foot from Arnstadt to Lübeck to meet the greatest organist in Northern Europe: Dietrich Buxtehude.

Based on this episode, which was undoubtedly both a spiritual and artistic quest for the young man, the artistic team comprising slammer Mehdi Krüger and artistic director Franck-Emmanuel Comte have devised a show combining the music of J.S. Bach with poetry written in Italian, German and French, performed by Simone Savogin, Josephine von Blütenstaub and Mehdi Krüger, accompanied by the cello of Aude Walker-Viry and the beatbox of Tiko.
