Lyon's municipal library holds some priceless manuscripts. The works of composers such as Giacomo Carissimi and Alessandro Stradella bear witness to Lyon's taste for the Italian style and the intensity of cultural exchanges between the ultramontane countries. Clément Brun and the Concert de l'Hostel Dieu Choir present a selection of the most expressive sacred polyphonies, unearthed and published for the occasion.
