Co-funded by the European Union, the European Music Trails project brought together the Notenspur Leipzig (Germany), Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu (France) and the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti (Italy). For 3 years, these 3 partners have been working together to create various artistic events with the aim of making baroque music more accessible and interactive. This project looked at both our European musical history and how it relates to our lives today, as well as how we can pass on this heritage to the future.
This edition, entitled Bach - The Art of Movement, focused on J. S. Bach and his influence on European composers, as well as the influence of international composers on his work.

The activities of the European Music Trails project have resulted in a number of stage performances and an exhibition that will continue to tour after the end of the project period. They have created lasting friendships and collaborations, introduced young people to classical music and strengthened their connection with their own European musical heritage. The combination of baroque music, poetry and dance has reached out to a wide range of audiences.
