Mad World<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0explore un monde vivant et imparfait, o\u00f9 l’ordre vacille sous la pression des forces d\u00e9stabilisatrices des \u00e9l\u00e9ments et des antagonismes humains. Comme une nature en d\u00e9bordement, la musique y progresse par secousses : temp\u00eates soudaines, vents contraires, mar\u00e9es qui submergent les rivages, paysages en mutation constante. \u00c0 l’image de notre monde contemporain soumis aux caprices des autocrates et des ing\u00e9nieurs du chaos, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments se d\u00e9cha\u00eenent et r\u00e9v\u00e8lent, dans leur exc\u00e8s, une troublante beaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n

De Vivaldi<\/strong> \u00e0 Haendel<\/strong>, de Purcell<\/strong> \u00e0 Rameau<\/strong>, jusqu’aux r\u00e9sonances contemporaines des songs de Tears for fears<\/strong> and Sin\u00e8ad O’Connor<\/strong>, Mad World<\/strong><\/em> traverse des \u00e9tats extr\u00eames o\u00f9 la folie du monde rejoint celle des \u00e9l\u00e9ments : la fureur \u00e9clate comme l’orage (Furie terribili<\/em>,\u00a0In furore iustissimae irae<\/em>), le deuil s’\u00e9tend comme une nuit sans fin (With darkness<\/em>), l’errance devient d\u00e9rive au large, livr\u00e9e aux vents et aux courants (Leave her Johnny<\/em>). Les danses de Playford<\/strong> ou les \u00e9vocations po\u00e9tiques de Graupner<\/strong> apparaissent alors, comme de br\u00e8ves accalmies, \u00e9claircies fragiles au c\u0153ur d’un climat instable.<\/p>\n

Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu<\/strong> fait entendre ici, un monde o\u00f9 nature et humanit\u00e9 se confondent dans un m\u00eame vertige, entre crues \u00e9motionnelles, temp\u00eates et d\u00e9r\u00e8glement du c\u0153ur et des \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Dans ce paysage travers\u00e9 de forces contraires, la folie n’est plus une rupture mais un \u00e9tat du monde ou la musique r\u00e9sonne davantage comme une invitation \u00e0 danser sous l’orage, plut\u00f4t qu’\u00e0 en attendre la fin.<\/p>\n
