Folia - the music from Merzouki's hip-hop show

Folia a piece for 16 dancers and 8 musicians

Neapolitan tarantellas and virtuoso folias, spiced up by the electronic music of Grégoire Durrande, make up the sound universe imagined by Mourad Merzouki and Franck-Emmanuel Comte for this surprising encounter between baroque music, electronic music and hip-hop dance. The dialogue between worlds, a fertile aesthetic line that has always animated the choreographer's creations, is to be found in Folia.
